Contact Us
There are two ways you can contact us.

This session grants you access to 45 minutes of legal advice by specialist human rights lawyer, Peter Fam. Peter will also spend up to 1 hour before the appointment reviewing key documentation.
These appointments are run on a “pay-what-you-can” basis. At the end of the appointment, you will receive an email inviting you to make a contribution of your choice, based on the value you received from the call, and what you can afford to give. At Maat’s Method, we believe that everyone should have access to legal advice, irrespective of their financial circumstances. At the same time, we are the only human rights specialist practice in the country that does not receive any Government funding, and we rely on the generosity of the community to keep fighting for Truth (and to keep the lights on). We are very grateful for any contribution that you can afford to give. Please kind in mind that one advice session involves about two hours of work (1 hour reviewing documentation, 45 minutes for the consultation itself and some additional associated admin).
Please note the following terms and conditions:
- Peter is only able to give advice in areas of speciality (see below list). If you book an appointment for an area of law which is not in this list Peter may be unable to give you advice, or the advice may not be helpful.
- Please send any key documents at least 48 hours before the appointment. The more documents you send, the more likely the advice is to be helpful.
- Upon booking the session no refunds are available, even if you do not find the session helpful. The only instances in which a refund is payable is when the session is cancelled by Peter.
